We’ve embraced our opportunity and responsibility to make a difference. Sustainability is moving us forward as a result. Today we received recognition from the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and Department of Energy (DOE) as a 2024 ENERGY STAR® Partner of the Year—Sustained Excellence. The ENERGY STAR Partner of the Year Award is presented to companies that display outstanding leadership in saving energy and protecting the environment. We’re pleased to be an ENERGY STAR Partner of the Year for the fourth consecutive year, reaffirming our position as a leader in the industry helping set the standard for energy efficiency and environmental sustainability.
We were selected for our dedication in 2023 to meeting and exceeding ENERGY STAR’s efficiency standards and advancing sustainable innovation. We are continuously committed to crafting top-tier ENERGY STAR-certified Air and Water products that drive notable reductions in energy consumption and greenhouse gas emissions. For instance, our groundbreaking Rheem IKONIC™ S- and SR-Series Condensing Tankless Water Heaters deliver continuous, instant hot water and an annual energy savings of up to 36% per year in energy costs, while our award-winning ProTerra® heat pump water heater underscores our focus on decarbonization. On the Air side, our Rheem Prestige® Series Variable Speed Heat Pump boasts cooling efficiencies up to 54% higher and heating efficiencies up to 34% higher compared to typical designs. Notably, we were also commended by the EPA and DOE for fostering awareness and confidence in heat pump technology among contractors through comprehensive global training programs and our proactive involvement in the ENERGY STAR Manufacturers Action Council. Looking ahead, we are expanding our product offerings and training initiatives in the heat pump category to further solidify our leadership position in 2024.
