Christopher Bell – No. 95 Rheem Toyota Camry Preview Cook Out Southern 500 at Darlington Raceway

“I’m looking forward to getting back to a track we have run twice at so far this year. Darlington was a turning point for us in the beginning of the year, so I’m optimistic about returning.”

Darlington Raceway: Christopher Bell will make his third NASCAR Cup Series (NCS) start at Darlington Raceway in the No. 95 Rheem Toyota Camry for Leavine Family Racing on Sunday. Bell struggled with handling in his first start at Darlington, but in his second start he earned an 11th-place finish. Despite no practice or qualifying for either race at the track nicked name “Too Tough to Tame” Bell, an NCS Rookie, finished on the lead lap in both starts.

Bell NXS at Darlington: Bell has two NASCAR Xfinity Series (NXS) starts at Darlington Raceway. Bell narrowly missed qualifying on the pole for each start, qualifying second both times and in 2019 he crossed the finish line fourth.

Throwback Scheme: In honor of the throwback weekend theme of “Champions, Past, Present and Future” the design on the No. 95 Rheem Toyota Camry is a tribute to Bell’s 2017 NASCAR Truck Series Championship design.

Daytona Recap: Bell survived multiple accidents and was in position to make a run at taking home the checkered flag, but a flat right front tire from contact on the final lap left him with a 13th-place finish at Daytona.

Christopher Bell: “I’m looking forward to getting back to a track we have run twice at so far this year. Darlington was a turning point for us in the beginning of the year, so I’m optimistic about returning.”
