Christopher Bell – No. 95 Rheem Toyota Camry Preview Auto Club 400 at Auto Club Speedway

“As a driver you want to be able to move around the racetrack and pass guys and at California if you are faster than someone then you can generally find a way around them.”

Bell at Auto Club Speedway: Christopher Bell will make his first NASCAR Cup Series (NCS) start at Auto Club Speedway this weekend in the No. 95 Rheem Toyota Camry for Leavine Family Racing. Bell has made two prior starts at the 2.0-mile oval in the NASCAR Xfinity Series (NXS). In 2018 Bell qualified on the pole and in 2019 Bell started fourth and finished third.

Rheem Guests at Auto Club Speedway: Rheem will host guests from Baker Distributing and a large group of Rheem Western Region plumbing contractors at Auto Club Speedway. Rheem will host over 1500 guests at NASCAR races in 2020 and has shared NASCAR racing with over 30,000 plumbing, contracting and building customers since becoming a NASCAR sponsor.

Las Vegas Recap: Christopher Bell was slated to line up 22nd in Vegas after rain washed out qualifying, but had to forfeit his starting position and drop to the tail end of the field to start the race after NASCAR did not approve of something on the No. 95 Camry in technical inspection. During the first stage of the race, Bell reported he had a loose handling condition with his car, but despite the handling he steadily made progress picking up positions on track. A spin right before the final stage resulted in contact with the wall and extended time on pit road for repairs. Bell was able to continue on to finish 33rd at Vegas.\

Christopher Bell: “Fontana is definitely a place I don’t have very much experience at all. My first time I went there I was actually really competitive and last year we struggled. It’s one of the places that is kind of unknown for me and one of the racetracks I have the least experience at. As a driver you want to be able to move around the racetrack and pass guys and at California if you are faster than someone then you can generally find a way around them.”
