James Buescher in First Nationwide Start of 2013 Season

June 18, 2013

NASCAR Nationwide Series – Johnsonville Sausage 200
June 22, 2013 – Road America
James Buescher, No. 34

Reigning NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) champion and past NASCAR Nationwide Series (NNS) winner James Buescher will attempt to make his first NNS start of 2013 in the Johnsonville Sausage 200 at Road America on June 22nd. Buescher goes to Road America with limited experience on road courses, with just one NNS road course start at Watkins Glen in 2011. Buescher took part in an open test session last month at Virginia International Raceway. Buescher looks to gain road course experience for the upcoming NCWTS race at Canadian Tire Motorsports Park on September 1. The No. 34 will be running the Wolfpack Energy Services colors this weekend at the Johnsonville Sausage 200 at Road America. Wolf Pack Energy Services is a diversified company supplying a wide range of products and services to the oil and gas industry – from top-quality wellsite accommodations to oil and gas industry rental equipment and pipe storage, inspection, threading and refurbishing.

I’m really excited about making my return to the Nationwide Series this weekend. I don’t have a ton of experience on a road course, but this will give my team and I some more experience for when we return to Truck Series competition. – James Buescher

The Johnsonville Sausage 200 can be seen live on Saturday, June 22nd on ESPN. Race coverage will begin at 5:00 p.m. EDT. The event can also be heard live on MRN Radio as well as SiriusXM Radio, channel 90.
