Rheem-Ruud Commercial Storage Tanks Offers Space-Saving, "Stubby" Design.
January 15, 2009
The only 100-gal. short storage tank on the market, the Rheem-Ruud ST100 can support a top-mounted boiler or be stacked in a parallel manifold configuration.
The new Rheem-Ruud 100-gallon commercial storage tank features a space-saving, “stubby” design that fits comfortably through small doorways and into tight spaces, making it ideal for boiler-room environments. Measuring only 46 inches high and just over 32 inches wide, the vertical ST100 tank is designed to work in tandem with other Rheem-Ruud commercial water heating equipment to handle applications demanding large quantities of hot water in short periods.
The tank’s smooth, flat top is reinforced with an internal cross beam, permitting the surface to be used to support a boiler mounted on top of the unit. Up to two ST100 units can be stacked adjacent to a boiler, thereby doubling capacity without requiring any additional floor space.
