Rheem Offers Multiple Venting Options For Tankless Water Heaters To Speed And Ease Installation.

— All fittings in a kit are equipped with gaskets that easily snap or clamp together.

— All fittings in a kit are equipped with gaskets that easily snap or clamp together.

— Category III Stainless Steel venting and other durable materials resist corrosion and typically last well past the life of the water heater.

— Maximum tankless vent runs are 47 feet with one elbow, and 37 feet if three elbows are used.

What follows is a brief rundown of the various venting options currently available from Rheem:

Rheem Horizontal Vent Kits: Power Vent Models — For quick and easy side wall power vent terminations:

For the Rheem 42PV and 53PV tankless water heaters, 3-inch pipe:  PTG 20003.

For the Rheem 74PV and GT199PV tankless water heaters, 4-inch pipe:
  PTG 20007
 
Rheem Sweet Termination Kits: Direct Vent Models (short run) — For quick and easy side wall direct vent terminations:

For Rheem 74DV and GT199DV tankless water heaters, 5-inch to 9-inch walls:  RTG20058; 9-inch to 13-inch walls:  RTG20059; and 13-inch to 17-inch walls:  RTG2060.

For Rheem 53DV tankless water heaters, 8-inch to 16-inch walls:
  RTG20066.

Rheem Direct Vent Kits:  Direct Vent Models (long run) — These kits are designed for long horizontal and vertical direct vent installations. To complete the kit, additional piping and elbows may be required for long runs.

For Rheem 74DV and GT199DV tankless water heaters: Horizontal Vent Kit —  RTG2032HHT; Vertical Vent Kit:  RTG2033HHT.

Note: Venting is not required for outdoor installations of tankless water heaters.
