NASCAR Nationwide Series - ServiceMaster 200
November 9, 2013 - Phoenix International Speedway
Kevin Harvick, No. 33

Kevin Harvick will pilot Chassis No. 134 from the Richard Childress Racing NASCAR Nationwide Series stable in the 200-mile event at Phoenix International Raceway. Ty Dillon piloted this RCR-prepared machine to a 16th-place finish at Richmond International Raceway in September. Since 2000, Harvick has made 20 Nationwide Series starts at the one-mile facility collecting one win (2006), one pole award (2003), six top-five and 10 top-10 finishes. The two-time Nationwide Series champion holds a 9.4 average starting position coupled with an 8.3 average finishing position, has completed 96 percent (3,842 of 4,004) of the laps contested and is credited with 323 laps led. Harvick will compete in his 10th and final Nationwide Series event of the 2013 season this weekend. This season he has earned one win at Atlanta Motor Speedway in September, among eight top-five and nine top-10 finishes.

How will running Saturday's Nationwide Series event at Phoenix International Raceway help prepare you for the Sprint Cup Series race on Sunday?

There really isn't much that will translate from one series to the other, because the cars are so different. The main benefit of running both series for me is the additional seat time. I enjoy racing at Phoenix (International Raceway), it reminds me of the tracks I used to run on as a kid growing up on the West Coast. We had a good run there last year. I'm hoping we can improve on that performance and pick up another trophy to add to the collection. - Kevin Harvick
