Rheem^® is committed to reaching some big sustainability goals by 2025. The goals revolve around three pillars:

• Degrees of Innovation – Intelligent Products – Launch a line of products that have a 50% reduction in greenhouse gas footprint
• Degrees of Innovation – Responsible Processes – Reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 50% and achieve zero waste to landfill in our global manufacturing operations
• Degrees of Leadership – Inspired People – Train 250,000 plumbers, contractors and key influencers on sustainable products or sustainable installation and recycling best practices

Highly Efficient Products That Reduce Environmental Impact

The ENERGY STAR^®-certified Rheem ProTerra™ Hybrid Electric Heat Pump Water Heater is a sustainable product that reduces carbon footprint up to 75%. Sustainability Focus in Plumber Training

Rheem is well on the way to achieving the 2025 goal of training 250,000 people on sustainable practices. We’ve already trained over 127,000 plumbers, contractors and key influencers. Our curriculum includes training on high efficiency products, features and practices. We’re providing plumbers with information about sustainable products and topics like sustainable installation and recycling best practices. This way, we can all be a part of paving the way to a more sustainable future.
