Rheem HotWave Is Your New Multipurpose Hose Sprayer
November 17, 2022
Do you need a safe and easy way to wash your car, outdoor equipment, your pet and more? The Rheem® HotWave® multipurpose hose sprayer provides continuous hot water whenever and wherever you need it. It’s a versatile tool for your outdoor water needs. You can use it on anything from tough jobs like cleaning your patio to more gentle jobs like washing your dog.
The Features and Benefits
Rheem HotWave uses tankless water heating technology in a portable, compact and lightweight unit. It includes a 25-foot power cord with built-in GFCI (ground fault circuit interrupter) protection, and it has a 6-foot hose section with a standard 5/8-inch garden hose connection. The long cord and the extra safety protection of a GFCI give you the freedom to move from task to task. The 5/8-inch garden hose water connection lets you use any outdoor spigot or attach to an existing garden hose.
You have control of the water pressure, stream and temperature. Rheem HotWave offers cool, warm and hot water. There are four spray patterns that you can adjust to get the best water control options for any task: shower, flat, jet and center. This ensures it’s flexible for any task.
Rheem HotWave performs best at a ground temperature of 72°F, so make sure to check how it performs in your region. You can rest assured that even if you live in an area with cooler ground temperatures, it delivers, on average, a nearly 50-degree increase in temperature.
Getting Started with Rheem HotWave
It has many different applications, but here are just a few of the many possibilities.
1. Rinsing or washing your dog
You can use more gentle settings to wash your favorite furry friend. Turn it on center for the least intense wash and flat to wash away soapy suds.
2. General cleaning
Every time your patio gets dirty, or you need a seasonal refresh, Rheem HotWave is there to wash away grease and dirt. Use the jet spray pattern for a thorough wash. You can also use it on house siding, windows, an outdoor grill and other outdoor cleaning jobs.
3. Washing your car
With the flat setting, you can rinse and wash away the soapy suds on your car in seconds. Car washes have never been easier, and you can do it right from your own house. It’s gentle enough to rinse your classic car.
4. Washing your bike or sporting equipment
You can enjoy outdoor activities in the mud and dirt guilt-free. Think fishing, mountain biking, kayaking, hunting and sports using cleats ─ golf, track and field, baseball, football, soccer and more. You can wash your bike when you’ve come back from a particularly muddy ride or feel a bike wash is due.
5. Gardening, washing your gardening equipment and caring for your lawn
Whether you need a light mist or higher-flow water, gardening is easier because you can wash your vegetables and clean your gardening tools with the same tool. Use the center setting for the least intense spray and the shower setting for more powerful, efficient water flow. Feel free to also use it to keep your lawn mower clean. If you keep your house equipment clean, you can keep your home clean too!
6. Washing off dirty boots
Washing dirty shoes from a muddy hike is more efficient with warm water and the shower setting, so spray away! You can also wash off muck from the garden or even wash off yourself after going to the beach. Another option is to rinse before jumping in or out of the pool.
7. Washing on the road
It’s great for bringing on the go. Use it to wash your camp dishes, shower and more so that you can go on your next adventures worry-free.
