Christopher Bell – No. 20 Ruud Toyota Supra Preview The ToyotaCare 250 at Richmond Raceway

Richmond Raceway Sweep: Christopher Bell swept Richmond Raceway (RR) in 2018, winning both the spring and fall events at the 0.75-mile track. In the fall Bell qualified on the pole and took home the victory, while pacing the field for 67 laps. In the spring he qualified second and led 167 laps to cross the finish line first. Bell has a total of three starts at RR, earning two wins, two top-five and three top-10 finishes.

We’ve got back-to-back wins at Richmond and I feel good about this weekend, especially coming off a win at Bristol.

Bristol Recap: Bell took home the checkered flag at Bristol Motor Speedway to earn his first career win at the short track and claimed the 100K “Dash 4 Cash.” Bell started the race eighth and was a constant factor in the top five throughout the 300 laps, leading three different times for a total of 57 laps.

Dash 4 Cash: With his win at Bristol Motor Speedway Christopher Bell won the $100,000 up for grabs in the first round of the Xfinity Series “Dash 4 Cash” and also qualified for the second round this weekend at RR.

Joe Gibbs Racing at Richmond: JGR has 96 NXS starts at Richmond Raceway and has earned nine wins, 26 top-five and 48 top-10 finishes. The championship-winning organization has won 10 pole awards with an average start of 12.2 an average finish of 14.5.

Christopher Bell: “We ran really well at Richmond last year; it’s another place that gets slick and is a track that I really enjoy. The short track program at Joe Gibbs Racing has been outstanding. We’ve got back-to-back wins at Richmond and I feel good about this weekend, especially coming off a win at Bristol.”
