Rheem Water Heaters Names James A. Cika to Oversee Specialty Water Heating .

Rheem Water Heaters recently announced the appointment of James A. Cika as Specialty Water Heating Manager, based at company headquarters in Montgomery. Cika will report to vice president/marketing David R. Martin, who said that Cika would be charged with identifying and growing business opportunities for the company’s tankless (Pronto!) and solar (Solahart) water heating lines, as well as for its aftermarket parts operation.
“Jim comes to Rheem with extensive experience in gas tankless water heating technology and its application,” Martin explains. “He will work to establish teams across a number of functions throughout the Water Heating Division to help guide our efforts to expand our specialty products businesses.”br /> Prior to joining Rheem, Cika spent five years as engineering services manager at Rinnai America Corporation in Peachtree City, Georgia. There he worked in new-product and application-solution development, as well as in customer training on service and installation procedures.
Previously, Cika served in various engineering posts for the Atlanta Gas Light Company, designing gas-distribution facilities and testing gas appliances. He also spent two years in the HVAC business, designing heating, ventilating and air-conditioning systems for commercial, industrial and educational facilities.
Cika has holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
