New PrestigeTM Series EcoNet®-Enabled Water Heating, Heat Pump, and Gas Furnace Products Feature Innovative Technology and High-Performance Engineering for Maximum Savings and Ease of Installation

ATLANTA, September 20, 2016—Rheem is bringing its High Efficiency Air + Water Road Show to Philadelphia for ComforTech 2016. Parked at booth space #411, the mobile showroom will showcase the company’s newest high-efficiency water heating and HVAC home comfort solutions.

At the show, Rheem will showcase a prototype ductless mini-split system manufactured by Fujitsu General, in response to the recently announced strategic collaboration that will expand the heating and cooling product portfolios for both companies.

In addition, Rheem will be showcasing several product innovations at ComforTech 2016, including:

  • The new Rheem PrestigeTM Series EcoNetTM-enabled Variable Speed Heat Pump, delivers precise home comfort settings to maintain ideal temperature, humidity level, and air quality around the clock. Unlike standard systems, the Variable Speed Heat Pumps utilizes inverter-driven technology to operate at a wide range of speeds in order to adapt to heating capacities - on demand.
  • The new Rheem Prestige Series EcoNet-enabled Modulating Gas Furnace is the industry’s first patented heating unit featuring a 97 percent AFUE rating. The variable-speed blower motor runs at a wide range of speeds to deliver better humidity control, while using less power. The patented heat exchanger design improves airflow, which reduces operating sound by 20-percent to deliver the quietest, most efficient gas furnace.
  • The soon-to-be-launched Rheem Prestige Series EcoNet-enabled Condensing Tankless Gas Water Heaters will be the newest addition in Rheem’s extensive line of innovative, contractor-friendly tankless water heating solutions. These EcoNet-enabled, the units not only provide continuous hot water but also save up to 1,100 gallons of water per year, and an estimated $1,100 in lifetime energy costs.
  • Rheem’s EcoNet Smart Home System allows homeowners to control and manage their heating, cooling and water heating products from anywhere via a mobile app or through a wall-mounted Control Center. EcoNet notifies homeowners and contractors when the equipment needs service and provides up-to-the-minute diagnostics – including leak detection - in clear language. Rheem’s line of EcoNet-enabled water heaters is compatible with the Nest Learning Thermostat, Wink and Logitech’s Harmony hub.
