Rheem Opens a New PROSTOCK Store with Hughes Supply.

Covington, Ga.-based store will distribute Rheem HVAC parts and aftermarket supplies to local contractors
COVINGTON, Ga., June 20, 2013—Last month, Rheem distributor Hughes Supply opened a new PROSTOCK location in Covington, Ga. Hughes Supply provides a complete line of commercial and residential HVAC equipment and supplies as well as residential, commercial, light industrial, institution and government plumbing supplies.
Hughes Supply owns more than 75 stores throughout 12 states. The Covington location represents the seventh store that Rheem has opened with Hughes Supply and its sister company, Apex Supply, in less than two years. Hughes Supply and Apex Supply are both part of Hajoca Corporation, a company that has been in business for more than 150 years. Hajoca has a proud history of helping shape advances in plumbing, and it attributes its success to a unique business philosophy and talented employees.

PROSTOCK stores offer replacement parts directly from the original equipment manufacturer (OEM), Rheem, as well as aftermarket parts and supplies for professionals that install, maintain and service HVAC and water heating equipment. Rheem is one of the few manufacturers in the country offering a retail presence to meet the needs of HVAC and plumbing contractors.

On Thursday, May 30, Hughes Supply and PROSTOCK hosted a grand opening event with a catered barbecue lunch for contractors in the Covington area. At the event, Hughes Supply conducted a grand-prize drawing, where one contractor had the opportunity to win a new Apple iPad®. Brandon Ayers of Reliance Heating and Air was the lucky prizewinner. The company also provided 10 percent off any PROSTOCK purchase and they raffled off two gift cards from Best Buy and one for Bass Pro Shops®.
“With the barbecue, prizes and giveaways, we had a tremendous turnout at our grand opening event, which puts out a strong message to our community that we are primed for new business and ready to build even stronger relationships with our customers,” added Mark Olson, profit center manager of the Covington location. “Our contractor customers know that a PROSTOCK store is a place they can rely on if they need parts.”
