Rheem Offers Exclusive Instant Savings Program for Atlanta-Area Residents.

2012-10-02

Atlanta homeowners can receive up to $800 in savings toward the purchase of a Rheem tankless water heater

ATLANTA, Oct. 2, 2012—Atlanta-based Rheem has created an exclusive opportunity for local homeowners to receive up to $800 in instant savings on its line of high-efficiency tankless natural gas water heaters. Rheem has teamed up with select contractors across the metro area to debut this program for its hometown residents, and several contractor partners will provide even more opportunities for instant savings.

“Atlanta has been Rheem’s home since 2006, and we’re excited to offer our community this special program for Rheem tankless water heaters,” said Mike Siuda, director of tankless sales and marketing for Rheem. “We’ve seen an increase in people asking about tankless water heaters in recent years because these units are highly efficient, and can provide continuous hot water in a small, space-saving package.”

Rheem will partner with the following contractors for its Atlanta tankless program: Allgood Plumbing of Loganville, Ga., Atlanta Plumbing Plus of Norcross, Ga., Harding Plumbing of McDonough, Ga., Heritage Plumbing of Ball Ground, Ga., K.E. Greene Mechanical/ Hydronics of Canton, Ga., LeBlanc Plumbing of Canton, Ga., Reliable Heating, Air & Plumbing of Woodstock, Ga., RF Plumbing of Lawrenceville, Ga., Snow Plumbing of Watkinsville, Ga., and Tim Chen Plumbing of Norcross, Ga.

Residents that switch their water heating from electric service to natural gas will reap the most out of this program, as these homeowners will automatically receive the full $800 instant savings. With natural gas prices currently at an all-time low, Georgians have the potential to lower their utility bills by making the change. And, according to Atlanta Gas Light®, switching to natural gas appliances can reduce a home’s carbon footprint by as much as 40 percent. Homeowners that already have natural gas service for their water heating will receive $300 instant savings if they purchase a Rheem tankless water heater through this program.

Tankless water heaters use energy to heat water only as it is needed, so no energy is wasted while there is no demand for hot water. And, they provide all the hot water necessary for multi-tasking; so the laundry, dishes and showers can happen all at the same time without running out of hot water. The Rheem Prestige™ Series Condensing Tankless Water Heater operates at 94 percent thermal efficiency, earning recognition on This Old House magazine’s 2011 list of Top 100 Best New Home Products.

The $500 promotion for switching to natural gas is only available through the end of October; however, the $300 incentive runs through December 2012. To learn more about this program, please see: www.rheem.com/hotlanta.
