Rheem Launches National Television campagin For Tankless Water Heaters - Campaign to Break on April 24th.
April 24, 2006
Rheem, the nation’s largest manufacturer of water heating products, will debut a national television advertising campaign today to support the launch of their full line of continuous flow tankless water heaters.
“Because Rheem has the largest dealer network in the industry, national television advertising was the obvious medium.” “A tankless water heater can deliver a positive change in the lifestyle of today’s families, so lifestyle programming became the perfect fit for Rheem,” explains Laura Butler, Rheem manager of marketing communications.
The campaign includes three television spots: one sixty second spot and two thirty second spots, all of which will run on national cable including HGTV, DIY, Discovery, Fine Living, Food Network, and The Learning Channel (TLC). Local market television, consumer and trade print, and local radio will be additional mediums running simultaneously.
One ad named “Never Runs Out” features a woman who faces a variety of shortages throughout her day, as her car runs out of gas as she drives to work, the coffee pot is empty, and she comes home to find a note informing her that her husband has “gone fishing” for the weekend. The tagline “Some Things in Life are Bound to Run Out on You,” accompanies footage of the once frazzled woman now relaxing in a candlelit vanity tub.
Each commercial ends by revealing that Rheem Tankless Water Heaters qualify for up to a $300 energy tax credit.
