Rheem Heating and Cooling Division Awards Scholarships to Commendable High School Graduates.

Rheem Heating and Cooling Division today announced the recipients of the 2007 Rheem Scholarship Award. Created specifically to be awarded to children of Fort Smith plant employees, Michelle Man, Lam Pham, Christopher Morgan, and Daniel Vo will each receive a monetary scholarship towards furthering their education at a university of their choice.
These four recipients were selected based on a written essay, teacher recommendations, and overall involvement in their schools and the Fort Smith community. In addition to the monetary scholarship, they will each receive official Rheem Racing apparel, a framed certificate, and a monogrammed duffle bag including other valuable gifts.
“We are truly proud of the accomplishments these four students have achieved in school and how they have represented the Rheem family throughout the community,” said Bill Hanesworth, vice president, general manager, Rheem Heating & Cooling Division. “At Rheem, we believe in recognizing excellence in everything we do, and these four students exemplify academic excellence. We wish them luck as they pursue their chosen career paths.”
Man and Vo are planning on pursuing careers in medicine, Pham is interested in chemistry and Morgan is interested in management information systems
