Rheem Employees Earn Prestigious Energy Management Credentials

THESE SALES TEAM MEMBERS HAVE PASSED RIGOROUS TESTING TO BE QUALIFIED AS ENERGY MANAGEMENT EXPERTS

ATLANTA—April 29, 2016—Rheem is proud to announce the names of the Rheem Team sales members who are now designated as Certified Energy Managers (CEM) by the Association of Energy Engineers (AEE) and Energy Management Professionals (EMP) by the Energy Management Association (EMA).

Shaun Thomas, Rheem’s hybrid applications engineer in Montgomery, Alabama, secured both CEM and EMP designations. Thomas supports the sales, engineering and development of hybrid air and water products – focusing mainly on H2AC™ Rooftop Unit featuring eSync™ Integration Technology.

Mark Ritz, Rheem’s commercial business unit manager for the company’s Air Conditioning Division, and Sal Brunetto, Rheem’s national accounts manager, are now CEM designated. Ritz lives in Oklahoma City and manages Rheem’s commercial business strategy for branded channels, including: distribution, manufacture reps and private label. Brunetto, who is based out of Rheem’s corporate office in Atlanta, drives business to Rheem and has substantial experience with commercial HVAC equipment, boilers, standby generators and water heaters in restaurant environments.

Heath Owens, Rheem’s commercial business development manager, is now designated as an EMP. Owens works in Fort Smith, Arkansas and handles commercial related business for the western part of the United States.

“These designations show the world -- Rheem is serious about energy efficiency,” said Robert “Bobby” Seals, senior commercial sales manager, Rheem. “I am extremely proud of the entire Rheem Commercial Team and special congratulations to Shaun, Mark, Sal and Heath for working hard to pass the tough exams. These designations are significant accomplishments and prove our Rheem sales team are the go-to, trusted advisor and consultants for ESCO’s, consulting engineers and business owners.”

The CEM course, which started in 1981, is a U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) recognized program that meets the “Better Buildings Workforce Guidelines” which focuses on improving energy savings for commercial applications.
