The media joined in the fun as well. Alex Cheimets of ApplianceAdvisor.com in Arlington, Massachusetts, achieved a “best-in-class” time of 8.35 seconds. Like Casillas, Cheimets received a new Rheem tankless water heater and the cost of installation, up to $1,000.
EZ-Link Technology from Rheem Water Heating enables installers to meet the hot-water demands of homes with up to six bathrooms or expand existing Rheem tankless systems to handle the needs of growing families.
- A customer with a four-bathroom home can install two RTG-53 series water heaters with an EZ-Link cable to meet his or her hot water demands.
- When building a new bath, kitchen or home addition, a Rheem tankless user would not need to replace the existing unit. He simply would connect a second Rheem tankless water heater to absorb the additional hot-water demand – all without taking up an excessive amount of space.
For high-volume applications, the MIC-180 manifold control allows installers to link up to 20 Rheem tankless water heaters (all the same model) in a manifold configuration.
