LinkedIn Dave Martin Promoted to Vice President, Marketing.

David R. Martin has been promoted to the position of vice president of marketing for the Water Heater Division of the Rheem Manufacturing Company. Continuing to be based at the division’s Montgomery headquarters, Martin will be responsible for all water heater marketing activities in North America, including the wholly owned subsidiaries Rheem Canada and Water Heater Innovations. His responsibilities will include channel management, product management, pricing, marketing communications and advertising, forecasting, and customer and technical service.
A 12-year veteran with Rheem Water Heaters, Dave Martin has served as the division’s director of marketing for the past year. He joined the company as an internal audit manager in 1990and over the intervening decade progressed through a variety of managerial positions that provided him with increasing responsibilities in the marketing function. “Through his many assignments over the years with Rheem, Dave has gained a broad understanding of the industry and customers we serve,” said Water Heater Division president Scott D. Martin, in announcing the promotion. “He is now a key contributor to our strategic direction and recent success.”
A native of Fort Worth, Texas, Martin is a graduate of Brigham Young University. He is a certified public accountant (CPA) and is certified in production and inventory management (CPIM) by the American Production Inventory Control Society. He and his wife Kimi reside in Montgomery with their six children.
