Buescher Begins 2014 Season with New Series, New Team and New Number

NASCAR Nationwide Series - DRIVE4COPD300
February 22, 2014 - Daytona International Speedway
James Buescher, No. 99

James Buescher comes into the opening race of the 2014 NASCAR Nationwide Series (NNS) season with a lot of changes, including running for RAB Racing. During the off-season, RAB Racing and Buescher have teamed up with support from Rheem and Toyota, and are looking to make a run at the 2014 NNS championship. The DRIVE4COPD300 will mark Buescher's first start as a full-time NNS driver. Although it's Buescher first full season in NNS, Buescher is not considered a rookie. Buescher has 58 previous starts in the NNS series, including one win. That win came at Daytona International Speedway when he came from 11th in the final corners to go on to win the 2012 DRIVE4COPD300.

I've been looking forward to this year all my life. I have a great team and sponsor behind me and I truly feel we'll be a threat for this year's championship. We had a great off-season getting accumulated with each other and had a couple strong tests, including one at Daytona. Daytona is one of my favorite tracks, having won my first NASCAR race here just makes it that much more special to me. The guys have been working tirelessly on our Camry during the off-season and if we can stay out of trouble early I feel we can be up front contending for the win. - James Buescher
