May 30, 2015 – Dover International Speedway, Dover, Del.

Austin Dillon and the No. 33 Rheem team earned a fourth-place finish Saturday afternoon at Dover International Speedway despite batting a tight-handling Chevrolet for a majority of the race. Dillon started the 200-lap affair from the eighth position and climbed his way to the lead by lap 42. After pacing the field for 17 laps, a caution flag was displayed on lap 55 for debris. The Rheem team pitted under yellow-flag conditions for four tires and fuel. Dillon returned to the racing surface in the third position for the restart and slipped to eighth when the green flag dropped. The Welcome, N.C. driver continued to fight a tight-handling machine in the closing laps of the race. Crew chief Nick Harrison called for right-side tires only and fuel on the final pit stop to improve track position. Dillon restarted sixth and worked his way through lapped traffic to the fourth position before taking the checkered flag. This weekend’s result marks the teams seventh top-five finish this season.

Man, we battled our way to the front three or four times today. This Rheem Chevrolet had a lot of speed. Dover (International Speedway) changes so much throughout the course of a run. I really like running on concrete because you can move around, and it helps when you’re chasing the handling of the car. We fought a tight Chevrolet for most of the race, but Nick (Harrison, crew chief) and the guys have a lot to be proud of after today. – Austin Dillon
