Rheem Appoints New Corporate National Accounts Manager.

Rheem promotes Sal Brunetto to leadership role on its newly created national accounts team

ATLANTA (April 4, 2012)—Rheem is pleased to announce that Sal Brunetto has been named corporate national accounts manager. Rheem is pleased to announce that Sal Brunetto has been named corporate national accounts manager. In this new role, Brunetto will assist in the development of Rheem’s National Accounts structure and its implementation to include: market analysis, strategic direction, channel management, as well as, a primary focus on direct sales for all applicable Rheem products. He will report to Joseph Fristik, Rheem’s corporate vice president, national accounts and marketing.

“Sal’s experience with understanding the specific requirements of commercial HVAC and water heating customers is extensive, and we are happy to welcome him to the national accounts team,” said Fristik.” “Rheem is placing a substantial emphasis on developing integrated air and water solutions, so commercial customers can leverage the synergies from both of these systems to operate more efficiently. Sal’s unique expertise in this area will be a great asset to Rheem as we grow our national accounts team.”

Brunetto joined Rheem in 2008 and has been an integral member of the company’s tankless business unit since that time. He began his career with the Carrier Corporation in New York City as a sales engineer. He later became the national sales manager at the Industrial Acoustics Company, and subsequently contributed to sales at the field offices of Weil-McLain and Trane. He has considerable experience in the application of commercial HVAC equipment, boilers, standby generators and water heaters.

Rheem began forming its national accounts team in 2011 with the appointment of Joseph Fristik as vice president, national accounts and marketing. The role of corporate national accounts manager is a newly created position for this team.

Brunetto earned a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering at Syracuse University and an MBA from Pace University in New York City. He currently lives on Long Island, N.Y., where he enjoys the beach and its many golf courses. Brunetto and his family look forward to relocating to Atlanta in the near future.
