NASCAR Sprint Cup Series - FedEx 400 Benefiting Autism Speaks
May 28, 2013 - Dover International Raceway
Paul Menard, No. 27

Paul Menard will pilot chassis No. 412 at Dover International Speedway. This No. 27 Chevrolet SS was previously run this season at Bristol Motor Speedway and tested at Charlotte Motor Speedway and Darlington Raceway. After his 13th-place finish at Charlotte Motor Speedway last weekend, Menard moved up two positions in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series driver championship point standings and sits in eighth heading into Dover this weekend. Starting 20th, Menard fought handling issues throughout the 400-mile event last spring to finish 17th at "The Monster Mile."

Dover (International Speedway) is one of my favorite tracks. It's one of the few tracks that you get your greatest sense of speed. You can really feel the speed inside the car and anything can happen at that one-mile oval, making the nickname 'Monster Mile' very fitting. When you drop off into the corner you feel the speed the most. We've had mixed results at Dover in the past, but I feel like we've got some momentum going into this weekend with our Libman/Menards Chevrolet. - Paul Menard
