Radio & TV
Coverage of this weekend's XFINITY Series Phoenix 200 at Phoenix International Raceway will be televised live on Saturday, March 12, beginning at 2:30 p.m. Eastern Time on FOX. It will also be broadcast live on Motor Racing Network and SiriusXM channel 90.
Why does Phoenix International Raceway drive like a short track, but it's in fact one-mile in length?
It has a lot to do with the angle and degree of the banking at Phoenix. Turns 3 and 4 are flat, and 1 and 2 is just a weird corner. You don't really race anywhere like that all year long, so it's a difficult driving track. When you have a good handling car, it helps a lot. - Austin Dillon
