Buescher Aims to Capture the First Top 10 of Season at the SFP 250

Buescher and the No. 31 Rheem team will return to the track where they earned their first NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) victory. In dominating fashion, Buescher led 103 of 167 laps en route to his first NCWTS win. Buescher is looking for some of that magic to capture the team’s first top 10 of the season.

Paul Menard Looks For Solid Finish at STP 400

Paul Menard will pilot chassis No. 403 at Kansas Speedway. This No. 27 Chevrolet SS ran previously this season at Las Vegas Motor Speedway finishing 10th. In this race last year at Kansas Speedway, Menard started 19th in the No. 27 Chevrolet and fought handling issues during the 400-mile event, eventually finishing 18th.

Kevin Harvick will pilot chassis No. 404 from the Richard Childress Racing NASCAR Sprint Cup Series stable in the NRA 500. Harvick drove this Chevrolet twice during the 2012 season, earning a 16th-place finish at Charlotte Motor Speedway in October and a ninth-place result at Texas Motor Speedway in November. Harvick and the No. 29 team earned a ninth-place finish after starting 15th and using fuel strategy to their advantage in the 2012 event.

Kevin Harvick and the No. 29 Rheem Chevrolet SS team finished 13th in the NRA 500 under the lights of Texas Motor Speedway on Saturday evening. Harvick qualified the red and black machine in the 29th position, but was forced to start the 334-lap affair from the back of the field after the team changed engines during the final practice Friday afternoon.

Paul Menard Finishes 17th in the Lone Star State

Paul Menard finished 17th at Texas Motor Speedway Saturday evening after having mechanical issues with two laps remaining in the 334-lap event. The Quaker State/Menards Chevrolet SS driver took the green flag from the 19th position and struggled with handling issues during the early and middle portions of the race. The No. 27 pit crew made an array of chassis adjustments on the ensuing pit stops in an attempt to remedy the loose handing condition on entry and exit of the corners.

Kevin Harvick drove Richard Childress Racing’s No. 33 Hunt Brothers Pizza Chevrolet Camaro to a fifth-place finish in the O’Reilly Auto Parts 300 at Texas Motor Speedway on Friday night. The two-time NASCAR Nationwide Series champion started the 200-lap event from the seventh position and remained a fixture in the top 10 during the early laps of the race. Harvick began to slip back in the field following a fuel-only pit stop under caution on lap 66 when several teams opted to take fresh tires.

Buescher Will Bring Back the Honey Badger at Rockingham Speedway
