Rheem Air Conditioning in Fort Smith, AR has an immediate opening for a Plant Human Resources Manager. This position is responsible for the supervision and administration of all Human Resources functions of the plant to include employment, training, communications, compliance, safety, labor relations, employee services, personnel records, testing, medical department, wage and salary administration, and security.
A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field with a minimum 5 years experience as a Human Resources Manager in a unionized manufacturing environment is required. Experience managing all aspects of the human resources function to include employee/labor relations, compensation, staffing, benefits, safety, training, and discipline needed. Experience in managing a departmental budget, team management and coaching, developing employee performance, and change management also required. Must be a strategic, innovative, and creative thinker. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with all levels of an organization are needed. Strong MS Office computer skills as well as analytical and problem solving skills a must. PHR or SPHR certification preferred.
