Hybrid Laundremat-Cafe Uses Tankless System To Give 25 Washers All The Hot Water They Need
When enterprising cousins Jesus Ortiz and Laury Rosario decided to open the first combined café/Laundromat business in Connecticut, there was a lot of research to do and countless decisions to make. Choosing a manifold (connected) six-unit, tankless water heating system to handle the hot-water needs of the laundry side of the business was part of that challenging process. In the end, the new business owners have found that the tankless system, manufactured by Rheem Water Heating, simplifies one of the most important aspects of their business – inexpensively providing plenty of hot water at the right temperatures on demand...

Plumber Connects Three Tankless Water Heaters To Meet Heavy-Duty Demands of Laundromat
Laundromats use a lot of hot water every day. What’s more, they need that water at simultaneously operating washing machines during peak operating hours. So when the water tank at Peerless Cleaners of Corpus Christi began to leak, the owner chose to upgrade the Laundromat’s water heating process. Local plumbing contractor Reed Glendenning suggested a Rheem tankless manifold system. Up to 20 Rheem tankless units can be connected, using the company’s exclusive manifold control assembly, to meet heavy-duty demands.

Buyers' Choice Convinces Connecticut Builder To Make Rheem Tankless Water Heaters Standard
When Rejean Carrier constructed the model home for Chimney Hill Estates – a 44-unit, active-adult development in Farmington, Connecticut – he did what he had done in all the homes he had built previously. He installed a tank-type water heater. But prospective buyers touring the model increasingly expressed concern about rising energy costs, so Carrier looked into a more efficient option to offer...

Think Utah and you think high elevations and powder snow skiing, right? Not exactly where you would expect to find tankless water heaters installed outdoors. Think again. Towers Murray Plumbing, a long-established contracting company in the heart of the Salt Lake Valley, is demonstrating how this cost-efficient alternative to tank-type water heaters can satisfy customer demand for continuous hot water without the expense of retrofitting an older home’s gas-piping and venting systems...

Nonmetallic Commercial Water Heater Helps Busy Fast-Food Restaurant Stay in Hot Water
Replacing “like-for-like” is practically standard operating procedure in the world of commercial water heaters. If a piece of equipment has met the demand for hot water until the “twilight” of its career, why monkey around with something different? Source a fresh version of what’s already in place, have it installed and get back to business-as-usual ASAP – right? Not so fast!
